Stacy Langdon, B.Ed

Stacy is a certificated teacher who began teaching in Newfoundland in 2007 before moving to Fort McMurray and becoming an Alberta certificated teacher in 2018. She has taught grades K, 2, 4, 5, and 6, as well as subjects in grades 7 and 8, and has a wealth of educational knowledge. 

 

Stacy is passionate about curriculum development and has participated in developing, writing, and implementing new curriculum throughout her teaching career.  She is an advocate for children with exceptionalities, has completed training with Geneva’s Autism Institute, and has experience planning for, accommodating, and assessing children with a variety of needs.  In addition to this, Stacy has experience collaborating with parents, SLP’s, PT’s, OT’s, and Educational Psychologists to aid in child development, and to develop and implement child strategies for learning and coping within a classroom setting. 

 

Stacy is experienced in working with Early Childhood Services and in delivering Program Unit Funding.  She plays a key role in developing Educare's program goals and ensures that they are relevant, up-to-date, and reflect Alberta’s Kindergarten Program Statement and Curriculum.
